Is this better?This new shade has some great benefits--the old one was a bit garish, and truly didn't show off the coolness of the base. This shade is an inch and a half shorter, which lets all the wood show. Before, the shade hid most of the wood column at the bottom. It's a nice, clean look.
And it's the shade K liked best.

love it! I saw the other one first and i was going to say that it detracts from the base... fabulous. You and your girls sure have great luck thrifting. I guess I need to get out of Provo where everything is picked over.
