Candy Land is that wonderful first board game that is easy to play, and fun for those who don't understand the concept of Plumpy.
2 1/2 year-old Reese playing with her great-grandpa here. Having fun!
Pa and Reese played earlier. She has no concept of how evil Plumpy is. For those of you unfamiliar with the ways of Candyland, if you draw a card with one of the characters, you go directly to where that character is on the board. Most will advance you. But Plumpy is at the beginning, and so, no matter when you draw Plumpy, you go back. Our daughters couldn't handle the trauma of this character, and would burst into tears whenever they drew him. So, we had to take the Plumpy Card out of the game to maintain peace and happiness.
Plumpy never made a comeback until the grandchild arrived. We'll see how long that lasts.

How cute is that? Reese with her Great Grampa! So cute and what a good picture! Love it. I don't like Plumpy either.
Maddie and Mia can't handle Plumpy either.
How special for little Reese to play with her loving G-g'pa! Marlow is one of the kindest and sweetest men I've ever known. Reese- you are one lucky little girl!!!
